Vehicle Description Very special and rare 1965 Unique Motorcars factory built FIA Shelby Cobra Roadster convertible.
This Cobra was a complete factory build in the Alabama plant of Unique Motorcars Performance factory and rolled out without a motor or transmission in 2002.
My Shelby Cobra replica was build totally to Carole Shelby's original specifications for the FIA small block, but has modern features like:
3 inch tubular framing front to back (see the video ) all 4 corners have heavy duty Wilwood Racing Disc braking Jaguar narrowed Independent Suspension with 3.
31 differential ratio for super fast starts Dual Carrera Coil-over Shocks on the rear on the front sway bars with adjustable coil-overs and Chrome Side Pipes that make Music (see the video) SW Instruments, all functional strong heater and defroster new windshield wipers, Hidden Horn Button with a load but fun Roadrunner Beep-Beep Horn Black Leather Bucket Seats with Simpson 4 point Racig Harness Drivers side chrome rollbar only (like Carole's cars) Fully Powder Coated Frame and Chrome parts all underneath (see the video) Edelbrock GT-40 knock-off style Rims 15 x 10's on the rear and 15 x 8 on the front with brand new 2022 Cooper Cobra tires 295 - 50 15s and 245-60 15s on the front with the with lettering turned inside all balance and completely digitally aligned in March 2022 Leman/s Style racing fuel cap and 20 gallon aluminum fuel tank, professionally installed for safety Underneath check out the McLeod Steel transmission scattershield & the drive shaft safety loop and harness.
The Paint is a triple clear coated Ferrari Rosso Corsa red color code ff2800 which is perfect all around the car (see the video).
The car has always been stored in a climate controlled garage environment so it still looks and shines like brand new.
I believe I am the 3rd owner of the car, which is registered with Unique Motorcars.
Interior and truck carpets are black and in perfect condition and the car comes with a drive and passenger side special Cobra floor coverings and a full like new black tonneau cover.
Full Bikini or Hard Tops are available for purchase from Unique, I understand, I live in Southern Utah and we never get rain or snow, so I don't need them.
Of course the car has the official Shelby steering wheel with all the Cobra emblems in great conditions and also have sun visors and Cobra wind-wings, but I don't use the so they are not in all the pictures.
All electrical works great, all the lights, turn-signals are all in working order as are the windshield wipers, horn, etc.
The hand brake needs adjustment but I never use it anyway.
There is one small clear coat chip in the pain never the top of the drivers door, less than an inch (see the picture of this spot I provided but you can not even see it in the video, I tried so I took a picture up close for full disclosure, I had a local quote to fix it of $500 but no time to deal with it and it does not bother me.
Now for the Best The Ford 302 Cu in / 375 - 400 BHp was a crate motor that was Balanced $ Blueprinted by Milts Cylinder Heads Racing Shop outside of Chicago Built with 9.
