Shuttle Bus Driver As a shuttle bus driver, your primary responsibility will be transporting passengers between Zion National Park and Springdale.
This seasonal position starts in March and runs through November, with some additional service throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays.
We are excited to announce that in 2023, we began transitioning to an air-conditioned all-electric bus fleet.
We plan to complete this transition in 2024, making it an exciting time to join our team and participate in this change.
Our 120-hour training program includes obtaining your CDL license and properly performing pre-trip inspections.
Schedules can start as early as 6:
00 AM and run as late as 9:
30 PM.
Part-time drivers can expect shifts of 4-6 hours, while full-time drivers can expect changes of 8-10 hours.
Shift times will vary, and you must be available to work on weekends and holidays.
All candidates must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
Random drug & alcohol testing will be conducted thereafter.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform a pre-trip inspection of equipment.
Safely transport passengers along the scenic drive in Zion National Park and Springdale, Utah.
Provide friendly, courteous, and informative information to park visitors.
Assist visitors needing to use the wheelchair ramp and ensure compliance with ADA regulations.
Remain calm in stressful situations, including medical emergencies, and communicate such events clearly to dispatch.
Tolerate hot summer temperatures, sometimes reaching well above 100 degrees.
PayHourly base wage is $19.

A message from the General Manager Parks Transportation is located just inside the south gate of Zion National Park.
