We are currently searching for an Aerospace Production Operator in the polish department.
This is full-time work, 5 days per week 8-hour shift.
(2:
00pm to 10:
30pm with 30 min lunch).
Some overtime is required during high volume production and may include hours scheduled on weekends and holidays.
We are looking for employees wanting long term employment.
A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
POSITION SUMMARY You will perform the activities associated with the polishing of metal wafers used for Aerospace/Semiconductor applications.
This work is performed in a clean work environment referred to as a cleanroom.
Executes processes and procedures to ensure consistent polishing of wafers.
(multi-machine operation).
You will be responsible for the production of high quality and performing products by adhering to strict operating standards and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and comply with their very specific requirements.
You will demonstrate safe work practices and contribute to a healthy and respectful work environment.
You will assist engineering in continuous improvement efforts to ensure best manufacturing practices are developed and adhered to.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to multi-task.

BASIC SKILLS An individual must have basic knowledge of math, measuring, tracking and inspecting.
COMPUTER SKILLS Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Past experience in manufacturing or production settings are preferred but not required.
Semiconductors cleanrooms is desired but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
An associate must have hand and finger dexterity and must be capable to handling the products delicately.
The associate is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Excellent eye sight is required in order to detect surface defects on wafers under bright light examination.
You must also follow specific personal hygiene cleanliness rules required while working in the cleanrooms.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
