Creating an environment where everyone is held to a high bar around sales, organization, inventory accuracy, merchandising, and service excellence is just part of the job.
Assistant Store Managers are an integral part of a successful retail store and the stepping stone to becoming a Store Manager within our company.
RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver Financial Results:
Meet or exceed Individual and location sales goals.
Track daily and month-to-date performance of store and every team member.
Deliver a culture around Customer Satisfaction that meets the company's expectations.
Maintain an acceptable shrink % as outlined by the company by establishing a culture of operational excellence.
Will be expected to execute many roles including sales, service and operations to ensure overall success.
Maintain Sales Operations:
Perform weekly inventory cycle counts of both serialized and non-serialized product.
Receive daily shipments in a timely manner and manage outstanding customer orders.
Monitor and complete inter-company inventory transfers.
Ensure store opening/closing routines are executed daily.
Process weekly RMA's and Open Box inventory.
Enhance the Employee
Experience:
Mentor employees in leadership and sales skills through the company's sales programs.
Assist Store Manager in preparing the weekly team meeting which address leadership, sales and operational training.
Be a positive example to team members of the sales process (ACE), including being above standard on personal sales.
Embrace a philosophy of constantly developing the next level of talent within your store.
Encourage a culture around open and honest feedback amongst the team.
SKILLS Outgoing, friendly, customer-focused attitude Self-starter who is highly motivated and can motivate others High ethical standards and personal qualities Strong organizational skills/team oriented Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays (part-time hours) QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years experience in a retail or similar sales environment Basic computer skills Managerial experience preferred Passionate about Apple products and services Job Types:
