This position is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store and holds a high responsibility to lead, coach, and develop store coworkers.
Previous people management experience is preferred.
The Assistant Manager directly supports the Store Manager and serves as highest ranking manager in the absence of the Store Manager.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for the shop they are assigned to and is responsible for all operational aspects of that shop in support of the Store Manager.
Responsibilities:
This is a representative list of the general duties the Assistant Management position may be asked to perform and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed, including, but not limited to, managing the operational productivity of unit growth to ensure that the store unit is meeting all of its objectives.
FIDUCIARY MANAGEMENT:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for achieving goals and targets outlined in the annualbudget.
Creating and maintaining an environment that is conducive to the continued growth of the business.
This alsoincludes business analytics, loan portfolio management, inventory asset management and sales productivity.
COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT:
It is the responsibility of the Assistant Manager, in support of the Store Manager, toensure that all business is conducted within City, State and Federal business requirements and compliant with all relatedordinances.
It is also the Assistant Managers responsibility, in support of the Store Manager, to ensure that all licensing iscurrent and in good standing.
TALENT MANAGEMENT:
It is the responsibility of the Assistant Manager to ensure that the store is fully staffed at alltimes, and, in support of the Store Manager, ensures that there is a comprehensive succession plan in place.
The AssistantManager will also ensure, in support of the Store Manager, that team members receive all required training.
This includesrecruiting top talent and sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels as needed, providing the appropriatefeedback to subordinate coworkers to include coaching, training as well as participating with Store Manager in annualreviews to staff members.
The Assistant Manager will refer all Disciplinary actions to the Store Manager except in theirabsence and by the direction of the Operations Director when or if needed.
ASSET MANAGEMENT:
It is the responsibility of the Assistant Manager, in support of the Store Manager, to ensure thatall compliance requirements are consistently met.
To maintain all security provisions and ensure that all related securityequipment is in full functioning order.
To train and hold accountable all subordinate staff members to expectations andprovide couching and correction as needed.
FACILITY MANAGEMENT:
It is the responsibility of the Assistant Manager to ensure that the facility they are assigned to isin good repair and all known concerns are being addressed in a timely manner.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
It is the responsibility of the Assistant Manager to facilitate a customer-centric environment byengaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing any customer issues to meet the highexpectations and standards of the company.
CODE OF ETHICS:
It is the responsibility of the Assistant Manager to ensure that all employees and management conductthemselves within the companies established Code of Ethics and that all business conducted within the unit and their sphereof influence is done in accordance with the companies' code of ethics.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications for all Store Management Levels:
Minimum 18 years of age Previous people management experience preferred Entrepreneurial spirit Collections experience preferred Strong desire to work, serve internal and external customers, and work with people; team oriented Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Cash handling experience required High energy sales personality with knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Solid written and verbal communication skills Analytical skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent work ethic and strong business sense Computer literate and able to use common office machines EEO/Drug Free Workplace Job Type:
