57 Hourly DOE/Q The Washington County Children's Justice Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Victim Services Coordinator.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in organizing, coordinating, and delivering crisis intervention and support to child victims and their families.
You will also collaborate with various professionals involved with the Children's Justice Center to ensure the well-being and welfare of the children we serve.
Essential Functions:
Collect and process client intake information, entering data into the Case Management System (CMS).
Facilitate and coordinate the interview process with non-offending parents of child abuse victims, offering support and assistance with interview-related tasks.
Provide technical assistance, education, and information to child victims and their families about the justice system processes and procedures.
Act as the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) facilitator, leading the preparation of MDT monthly agendas and case staffing, and tracking case review outcomes.
Education and
Experience:
Associate's degree in social work, psychology, family sciences, or a related field.
One year of experience in a victim advocate setting or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques, child abuse principles, and child protection services.
Knowledge of State of Utah laws/regulations regarding child welfare and criminal prosecution.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
