The Production Operator will use fine motor skills, equipment operation, and microscope inspection to produce precision instruments in a consistent and timely manner.
JOB DUTIES Essential Job Functions:
The Production Operator will provide reliable and timely support in the following functions:
Maintain product flow - parts are processed in a timely manner; coordination and prioritization of job assignments Maintain traceability documentation in the form of Job Travelers Fixture all products for TiN, TiCN coatings Train co-workers in aspects of forming, hand sharpening, heat-treating, fixturing, cut-downs, SDS operations, MDS operations, and assembly work Follow through with all assignments Maintain all supplies, tooling, fixtures, etc.
for the fixture department Review and update current specifications, prints, and charts and review with personnel Assure equipment is in good working condition, proper working order, and is routinely maintained Assure materials and supplies are ordered through the manager Organize Punch Production tooling & processes (floor specs, charts, equipment maintenance schedules, etc.
) Assist in testing new products and procedures Properly document test results Evaluate test results and implement and document new processes Serve as a back-up for machine operators in the shop Assist in sharpness testing equipment Order raw material & supplies per re-order system; notify supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.

SKILLS Demonstrates attention to details to ensure production of the highest quality Ability to take direction from others in an exacting and supportive manner Ability to read and write English Able to function in a dynamic, fast paced, environment QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE - Prior production experience in a related work environment is preferred Verification of most recent pay will be a condition of employment.
Candidates will be expected to provide most current paystub.
EDUCATION - High School Diploma required, trade school preferred Verification of education may be required as a condition of employment.
Candidates will be expected to provide a copy of their degree or transcripts.
WORKING CONDITIONS Duties are carried out in a production shop and the use of hazardous materials, such as acid, is routine.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
