Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, guest consumption and enjoyment.
Responsible for oversight of staff , consistent food production on the line and nightly closing duties.
Essential Job Duties:
Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance to production plan.
Works closely with Chef de Cuisine and Banquet Chef Performs lunch and or dinner service Teaches other staff members Ensure proper storage, date and rotate food items Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
Alerts Chef or Supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages or shortages in a timely manner Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance Performs other duties as required Job Knowledge, Skill & Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform duties of the job.
